- The Hobbit Entertainment +4

My reviews and how I rate things. I give each review a rating from zero to five stars. Three means good; five is rare. I don’t use half-stars. ☆☆☆☆☆ 0 — Didn’t finish. I gave up on it. ★☆☆☆☆ 1 — Don’t recommend. I finished it, but wouldn’t recommend it. ★★☆☆☆ 2 — Better than boredom. Worthwhile if you particularly like the genre, subject, or creator. ★★★☆☆ 3 — Good. Recommended, especially if it’s your sort of thing. ★★★★☆ 4 — Must read, watch, or play. Outstanding or genre-defining. ★★★★★ 5 — Greatest works of all time. Entertainment and quality don’t always line up, so I also give an entertainment score from −5 to +5. Zero means I was bored. The further from zero, the more entertained I was – both +5 and -5 mean I had a great time. A positive score means the work entertained me in the way it probably meant to and a negative score means I enjoyed it for other reasons (“so bad it’s good” etc).Entertainment
